The built-in feature ensures precise feeding of costly materials without any wastage. The mechanism is capable of handling a range of open mouth glass ampoules, from 1ml to 25ml in size. It has a filling efficiency of 0.5ml to 25ml for single doses. The production rate can range from 20 to 25 ampoules per minute, depending on the size of the ampoules.
Process Operation
The clean ampoule tray goes vertically into the inclined hopper. A synchronized star wheel slowly delivers ampoules to an eccentric ampoule rack that spins at a constant speed. During the rack stop, the process of pre-gassing, filling, post-gassing, pre-heating, and final sealing occurs in fast succession. When an ampoule has been correctly filled, sealed, and placed on a collecting tray, it is automatically collected.
