Process Operation

The filled bottles are transported on a feeding conveyor, utilizing the back pressure from the liquid filling machine conveyor, and are directed into an in-feed star wheel by an in-feed worm. As the feed star wheel rotates, bottles sequentially collect caps from the delivery chute. The descending rotary sealing mechanism grips the bottle’s neck with the required pressure. The sealing process is carried out in a programmed roll-on fashion, with the caps being accurately positioned mechanically through a rotating unscrambler. This directs the caps properly into the chute. Once the chute is filled, the drive of the rotating unscrambler is disengaged, ensuring that there is no risk of damaging the caps. The sealing roller operates through the rotation of the sealing head, while the movement of the sealing and threading rollers is facilitated by the sealing cam. The sealed bottles are released by the exit star wheel onto the conveyors.
