When making pharmaceutical products, a coating pan is a tool used to apply an organic or aqueous film to a tablet. With its MS-fabricated structure, SS Covering electric control, air filter, and SS Pan inside the enclosure, the coating pan is easy to clean from the outside. It features a polishing pan that is simple to replace, and coating pans of various sizes can be installed to meet additional needs. The machine’s non-contact components are composed of AISI 304, but all of its contact parts are constructed of AISI 316/304.
Process Operation
The tablets you wish to coat are first put inside a closed drum that is designed to spin continuously in an orbital pattern while being influenced by a streamlined plate. To prevent too much coating on the tablets, the coating medium automatically and sensibly sprays while the tablets are in orbit. Additionally, the drum is equipped with angled baffles and air flow, which serve to mix the tablets. All of the tablet sides are exposed to the sprayed coating as a result of the baffles lifting and rotating the tablets from the drum’s sides and onto the center.
