Components

• Tube Feeder: The first component of the tube filling machine is the tube feeder. The tube feeder allows the empty tubes into the machine. The function is performed mechanically or by hand. Without any delay, there is a smooth supply of tubes for the filling process.
• Tube Orientation Unit: These components provide a right alignment of the tubes for filling. If the tubes are not in the right position, then there are high chances of product wastage and spilling.
• Filling Station: A filling station provides a smooth flow of the product into the tubes through a nozzle. It is a very useful component as it is designed in such a way that it ensures a calculated amount of the product filled into the tubes.
• Sealing Unit: All the filled tubes are moved towards the sealing station for sealing. In order to avoid spilling, leakage, and increasing the shelf life of the product, the sealing should be secured.
• Coding Station: All the tubes are moved to the coding station. Here the important information is imprinted onto the tubes.
• Ejection Unit: The next station is the ejection unit. Here, all sealed and coded tubes are separated from the apparatus and undergo the quality test.
• Control Panel: The control panel is responsible for controlling the speed, setting, and modification of the machine. All these components of the tube filling machine make sure that a smooth, precise, and efficient process is carried out.

Salient Features

• The equipment can produce between 60 and 120 tubes per minute. It all depends on the contents of the tube and its size.
• It can accommodate a range of cream/Ointment sizes, from 3 ml to 200 ml.
• The largest diameter laminate tube it can seal is 40 mm, while the largest diameter Aluminium tube it can shut is 28 mm.
• The racetrack is oval and will be held in place by aluminium tubes.
• An oil-immersed Ferguson-type indexing system will be used.
• All sides of the body are encased.
• Pre-buffed stainless-steel sheet will be used to clad the machine.
• The Conveyor’s over-load clutch prevents damage.
• Barcode scanning capabilities built in, if necessary.
• All permanent components above the table top will be made of SS 304.
• The machine will come with a variable frequency drive that allows you to adjust the speed as needed.
• Allen Bradley PLC and a touchscreen HMI will be included in the machinery.

• All access points will feature fail-safe switches, and the machine will be powered by a single, pure 24V DC supply. A 24V DC supply will power everything from the display to the cassette motor.
