The Basic Theory Behind How a Liquid Filling Machine

Below the filling nozzles, a feed worm and in-let star wheel bring clean containers from the washing machine or unscrambler to the conveyor. The filling station has a volumetric filling head and a revolving tank in the middle to store liquid. This water storage tank is being constantly replenished from outside. A pneumatically powered solenoid valve is automatically activated in response to the liquid level in the reservoir tank, which is sensed by a floating level switch. A screw may be used to alter the fill volume, which will affect all of the syringes at once. A mechanism built into the top of each syringe will allow for precise adjustments to be made.
