Vacuum Tray Dryers serve the purpose of drying high-grade products that are sensitive to temperature and oxygen. Ideal for removing moisture from hygroscopic materials, achieving extremely low residual moisture content. Vacuum drying cabinets are often the only option for drying lumpy, glutinous products or those with low porosity. Within the dryer, there are multiple shelves equipped with trays where items are arranged. Each shelf is equipped with an inlet and outlet nozzle. The shelves are designed with a hollow structure, featuring baffles positioned between them.
Process Operation
A Vacuum Tray Dryer operates under vacuum conditions based on the principle of conduction. Within the dryer, multiple shelves are equipped with trays for placing the products. The highest shelf is a dummy shelf positioned to ensure adequate heating and to stop the dried powder from entering the solvent extraction system. The shelves are designed with a hollow structure, featuring baffles and stiffeners positioned between them. Each shelf features an inlet and outlet nozzle, linking it to an inlet and outlet header via these nozzles.
