Manufacturer of Roll Compactor
Roll compactor machine is employed in the process of dry granulation. It presses fine powders into a solid sheet known as chips or flakes by forcing them between two counter-rotating rollers. Roll compactors come in plain, water-jacketed, and flameproof models, and they have a very small design. The entire cover is made to operate without dust. Optimized granulated material is provided by roll compactors to enhance down-flow characteristics and ultimately maximize tablet manufacturing efficiency. SS316 steel is used for all contact parts, while SS304 steel is used for non-contact parts.
Working Principal
Under extremely high pressure, the powdered material travels through the roller compactor’s two counter-rotating rolls. The material is formed into a solid compact sheet or flakes of ingredients as the volume decreases through the region of maximum pressure. To achieve the required grain size, these flakes or compact sheets of ingredients are shrunk in size. During this process, the machine takes extra precautions to avoid producing a fine.

- The hopper and auger/feeder assembly is lifted hydraulically for easy cleaning & dismantling.
- ELNP (Electro-less Nickel Plating) or Hard chrome plated with mirror finished compacting rolls made of tool steel.
