Colloid Mill is a device that lowers the droplet size of a liquid suspended in another liquid or the particle size of a solid suspended in a liquid. The rotor-statator, which is housed in a cylindrical vessel, is the fundamental principle utilized in the colloid mill. This mechanism serves a number of functions, including emulsification, milling, homogenization, dispersion of solid particles in an emulsion, and enhancing emulsion stability.
