The double cone blender machine features a conical design at both ends, allowing for effortless discharge and consistent mixing. The ideal range for achieving optimal homogeneity is between 35-70% of the total volume. It is applicable for products in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and cosmetic industries, among others.
Double cone blenders are commonly utilized for the dry mixing of unbound particles. These blenders are capable of mixing solids with different bulk densities and percentages in a range of proportions. As the double cone rotates, the mixing of matter occurs continuously. Combining materials usually requires about 10 minutes, though the time may vary based on the intricacy and dimensions of the materials involved.
Process Operation
The powder should occupy two-thirds of the blender’s volume to guarantee effective mixing. The rotation speed ought to be between 30 and 100 revolutions each minute. During rotation, mixing takes place as a result of the tumbling action. The item can be released from the base of the apparatus.
