The Tray Dryer is primarily utilized for the desiccation of high-grade products that are sensitive to temperature and oxygen. The Tray Dryer is particularly effective for drying hygroscopic materials to minimal residual moisture levels. The fundamental operating principle of a tray dryer is the continuous circulation of heated air. Dryers are utilized in processes where drying and heating are essential components of industrial manufacturing, including the food, pharmaceutical, dye, and chemical industries.
Process Operation
The first step is to load the trays with the wet solids and then place them in the dryer chambers. Next, fresh air is drawn in through the intake, and it is heated as it travels through the heaters. Inside, blower fans are set up to make sure air flows properly and heat is transferred. Outside the dryer is a fixed control panel where you can set the temperature and other parameters.
